Innovative collaborative research projects in dairy production and processing.

The dairy industry is a strategic sector for Quebec, both socially and economically. As the mainstay of the agri-food sector, it generates 27% of the province’s agricultural revenues. Quebec is also Canada’s leading milk producer (Government of Quebec, 2024).
As part of its 2024-2025 Collaborative Research Program and in partnership with Novalait, CRIBIQ is launching the 118th call for projects with the aim of co-funding innovative collaborative research projects in dairy production/processing.
Priority research themes include:
- Milk production:
- Food and nutrition
- Health and well-being
- Fertility and reproduction
- Milk quality
- Dairy processing:
- Technological properties
- Indicators and control tools
- Eco-efficient processing
