Michele Heitz
Professor, ing, Ph.D. Département de génie chimique et génie biotechnologique, FG, Université de SherbrookeMichèle Heitz has been a full professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at Université de Sherbrooke since 1998. For more than 25 years, together with her research group, Ms. Heitz has worked in the field of environmental biotechnologies, specifically on treatments involving the biofiltration of polluted air by volatile organic compounds or methane. Another theme addressed by her laboratory is the valorization of biomass, including the production of biodiesel and the valorization of cheese by-products.
